DDB gets a helicopter visit…

On Friday, March 28, 2009 the school where I work and where my girls attend had a visitor. We got to watch a helicopter come in and land on our soccer field. It was really exciting to watch the helicopter circle a couple times and then finally come in for a landing. When the helicopter was coming in to land we realized that our school mascot was also inside. The kids thought that was extra exciting. After the helicopter landed we got to hear from the pilot. Then the principal dismissed the younger students so that the second graders could get a close up view and even get to sit in the helicopter. What excitement for our young students!
