Running lights with the cops right next to you…

So I seriously was not paying attention today and ran a yellow light with a cop sitting right next to me. I was chatting on the phone with my sister and just followed the car in front of me. As I was going into the intersection I looked up and saw the light was yellow. The worst part was that I not only ran the light, but it was a left turn light and the light turned from a green arrow to a green light. I still can’t believe I did that. My sister asked me if the cop was coming after me. I told her no, but I’m kind of surprised that he didn’t. I will pay better attention while driving…
