Lizzie got her ears pierced…

On 4 May 2009 Daddy took the girls to go get me something for my birthday. While they were at Wal-Mart Jason called me and asked what I thought of Lizzie getting her ears pierced. I was shocked. Neither of my girls had talked to me about getting their ears pierced and now Lizzie wants her Daddy to have them pierced. I thought for sure when I told him that we needed to discuss it further that he would not let her get her ears pierced.
In usual Jason fashion he did let her get her ears pierced and didn’t wait for my input. I was shocked twice in one afternoon. So for my birthday this year….My youngest daughter got her ears pierced. They do look really pretty and she is doing an okay job keeping them clean (this was my biggest worry!)
I think she was afraid that I would be mad. I was shocked, but not mad. I guess I wanted to be a part of it…
