Nikki got the Citizenship Award for her class…

I was surprised to hear Nikki’s name called for the Citizenship Award. Not that she isn’t a good Citizen, but I guess I just didn’t expect it. I’m so glad that she was awarded this for her class. She has worked hard this year and I think she deserves the honor. When she went up for her award they let me take a picture of her with Danny Bear. Danny Bear covered her eyes.
Then Danny Bear uncovered her eyes and took a cute picture with Nikki.
Nikki was so pleased to get an award and to get a picture with Danny Bear! Before the awards assembly Nikki’s teacher had told the class that whoever got the Citizenship Award for their class got to wear a graduate cap for some of the day. I ran into Nikki wearing this cap…!
